Equine Healing and Communication

Hi,
This is the first posting on my new blog and I would like to just explain a little of what I do and how I can help both horses and their riders / owners.
Some people call me a Horse Whisperer but it is more about communication at a deeper level using Reiki or Universal Energy to help establish a connection. Healing is communicating with the sub conscious body, that we often have lost touch with. All our bodies are designed to heal naturally, sometimes we just need a little extra help.
I believe that some illnesses and physical issues develop firstly from emotional problems that we have not dealt with or have 'pushed under the carpet'. Our emotions are very powerful and if we are not dealing with our negative emotional issues then they can rear their ugly heads in many ways.
Reiki is universal energy, we can use this energy to help both physical and emotional issues.
Reiki for Horses is very powerful as they have no preconceptions about it or disbeliefs. They just respond to what they feel, by relaxing when the energy releases their muscles, they also tell you when the energy is creating more pressure in the muscles, usually by moving away. Sometimes they will even lift your hand off the area you are touching.
Hands on Healing with horses can be profound for the horse (and also the owner if they are with us at the time.) It re-establishes trust between horse and human and is great for incidences where a horse has been abused or just had a bit of a hard time with us humans, even through misunderstanding. They do not hold grudges, even if we think they do, they just learn to respond to us from what they have already learnt.
